When we completely unplug from the digital world, we begin to live in the here and now. The beauty of the Northwoods—the sunrises and sunsets, the eagles and moose—teaches us to take pleasure in things that don’t have a price tag, delivery date or social status.
APPROPRIATE PACE
Baril Lake offers an ideal setting for participants to learn the skills necessary before embarking on their trip. An experienced group might leave after just one night at Owakonze while newcomers can stay at Owakonze until the group is ready do go.
